The Library, Basement and Littleton basement store holds over 70,000 volumes on the law of England and Wales, Scotland and the Commonwealth. Our holdings also include EU, Irish and International law. The collections are essentially for reference only, but there is a limited loans scheme.

A list of New Titles and New Editions received by the Library is produced four times a year.

England and Wales

The collection comprises legal textbooks (including old editions), law reports and legal journals, and legislation (both primary and secondary).

Scotland

The Library’s Scottish collection includes law reports, journals and textbooks.

Commonwealth

We have an extensive collection of Commonwealth law reports and legislation.

Specialisations

Each Inn Library specialises in different jurisdictions outside England and Wales and specific subjects within English law.
