The four Inns of Court are unincorporated associations which have existed since the 14th century. They hold the exclusive rights to call candidates to practise law at the Bar of England and Wales, and they play a central role in the recruitment, training and professional life of barristers.
The Inns of Court Libraries provide a service to barristers, judges and bar students.
The booklet, Library Resources for the Bar, has details of the library services of the four Inns.
