On 10 September, as a representative of the Inner Temple Library, James Rowles partook in the lecture to the new ICCA students delivered by the four Libraries of the Inns of Court on legal research, held in the very impressive lecture theatre at the Inner Temple.

Using a legal scenario on copyright law, we worked through how they can use both the legal databases and the hard copy collections available at the Inns’ Libraries to answer the legal questions that the scenario posed.

This is a great opportunity to introduce the students to the libraries and the librarians and give them a firm foundation in legal research which will be an important basis on which they can build their careers at the Bar.
